News has just filtered through that this years Rottingham has been postponed, we'd like to say a quick thanks to Ian & Dan @ Nottsnoise for including us on the bill and that they get a new date sorted soon, in the meantime, here's a statement from the duo:
Sadly, due to reasons beyond our control we have had to postpone Rottingham for a bit.
Basically we've changed the date twice already, and now the venue have told us they have a club night on the Saturday night and we'd have to finish by 8pm, which to be honest, isn't gonna happen.
The Old Angel is probably the best venue in the area for a gig like this, so we are sticking with the Angel and will hopefully have the bands and new date confirmed soon as possible. We just thought it fair to postpone rather than mess everyone about again. We have spoke to bands and have highlighted the problem, and we know this looks very unprofessional on our part, but sometimes things like this can't be helped.
So just watch this space for new updates on bands and dates, and cheers for the support.
Ian + Dan @ NottsNoise.
Charger are back on line with a real web site, right now we are writing new material in our countryside jam room. We have taken on Future Noise to deal with management/bookings & The Sleeping Shaman who has designed this site, provided press/live shots and recently interviewed us which you can read here. Our Message Board is still available on our labels site and we also have 1 set up on The Sleeping Shaman / Future Noise forum here, so feel free to abuse us.
Thanks to all involved & see you in a sweaty club soon!
