Thoroughly unpleasant, indecently thrilling and worthy of your immediate attention."

Kerrang! UK album review
April 2003

Long awaited full length from stoke-on-trent sludgemeisters

charger and their brand of hate filled noise seem to have been playing pretty
much every toilet in the uk and touring with the likes of amen and raging
speedhorn along the way. But its only now that this full length debut has
surfaced. And its been well worth the long wait. Produced by stoner rock legend
billy anderson (who's also twiddled the knobs for orange goblin, sleep and
eyehategod) this is the absolute essence of Charger that sounds like its been
given a kicking down some scummy piss-drenched alleyway and then forced against
its will onto tape. Its heavy, malevolent, downright but ugly and a serious
fist in the face of anything that might get in its way. Oh lord yeah.
